Residential container

Pamela Voigt was a guest evaluator for the design "Residential container: development of new and dismountable container units" by Bachelor students of the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, Contextual Design Class II (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Stahr).

The subject of temporary construction was dealt with using flexible room solutions such as accommodation and wardrobes for organizers, artists and guests of music and rock festivals. The temporary nature of the events as well as their different scales require flexible room solutions with variable usability, short assembly and disassembly period as well as favorable transport and storage conditions.

This project was inspired by the participation in the network iRock, Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM) of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
